DRI/CGS Doctoral Fellowship

Division of Research and Innovation/College of Graduate Studies Doctoral Fellowship

The Division of Research and Innovation (DRI) and College of Graduate Studies (CGS) in partnership with the individual colleges secured one-time funding for the DRI/CGS Doctoral Fellowship. This is a two-year fellowship with a $30,000 stipend each year: for the 2022-2023 academic year fellows are appointed as a Research Fellow paid by DRI/CGS, and for the 2023-2024 academic year fellows are appointed by their home college. The goal of the fellowship is to attract qualified incoming California doctoral students who were nominated by their doctoral program directors. Nine students received the fellowship.
