Graduate Student Spotlight

In just a short period of time I have grown immensely as a writer and worked towards educational goals to enhance the quality of my education.

I’m intrinsically motivated to help raise a diverse new generation of scientists as I was given an opportunity as a young scientist. My time at SDSU has both validated me as a scientist and has also ensured that I would love to pursue a career in teaching.

The support I received only furthers my interest in research, an interest that has flourished within graduate school. It helps that the staff wants to see you succeed!

I identify as a cultural researcher who believes that culture plays a major role in how people experience the world.

This program has helped me hone my personal and professional skills, and has given me the chance to expand my network and horizons in a way that made me confident enough to step into my dream industry.
